Arend Steven de Ruiter, in short: A.S. de Ruiter, buys and sells antique objects, antiquities and waste materials. Our company is situated in the centre of the Netherlands (to be precise: in Vaassen which is located in the province of Gelderland) Vaassen is also part of the urban triangle: Apeldoorn, Deventer en Zutphen, these are places which are at a short distance of: Zwolle, Arnhem, Nijmegen en cities like: Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
History always has had its footprint on present and future times.
History is an on going proces and our company has always been a part of it.

Photo: zinc garbagebins from our private collection. These old bins were used by the towns' cleaning companies of: Apeldoorn, Deventer, Amsterdam, Haarlem, Den Helder, Rotterdam en Vlissingen till the seventies. A.S. de Ruiter is reusing these garbage bins on our terrace in order to separate waste. Moreover these bins represent part of our familiy history.
A.S. de Ruiter has been aware of its social character and its responsibility to maintian the existing culture and tradition. In order to achieve this, we respect and value the past with regards to the future.
